[ It's very late, isn't it? About three am and the town is silent -- truly silent for once. No wind. No coyotes. Just pure blanket silence all throughout the town.

At this point, most of the explosives should be laced -- both Barnham's and Ash's and it's only time for the final touches and of course, setting it off.

If Ash bothers to return to his room before the explosion -- he'll see a figure tucked safely into Noctis' bed. ]
[ i had an asw for you two to put here specifically for this kill log but i lost the imgur link and cal's afk so i can't make her give it to me wtf watch this space

HAHA FUCKERS

]

[ why do waynes hurt me like this and WHY DON'T I GET TO WRITE GOOD STARTERS ANYMORE ]
[ No one told me where to set the kill log so you know what, have at it, ya jerks!!! ]
[ It's late. Extremely late. Dead of the night type late and when Rin comes to, it will be on a pile of bones. At least, that's what they feel like considering how dark it is. The entire floor seems to crack and crumble with every slight press against it and and the air feels very, very still.

If Rin looks up, she will see a large hole in the ceiling, slight bits of light coming from very high up but not enough to illuminate the location but enough to show that this place, is pretty far underground.

After a moment, the Sheriff's head appears in the light and he seems to be holding a flashlight. ]

You ain't dead yet, right? Good. Sending someone down for ya in a bit. Don't make it a whole... thing, thanks. Be seein' you, partner.

[ Then he drops the flashlight down into the pit and there's when the rest of it is revealed. Smooth stone walls in a perfect circle, floor covered in human remains, and one very large pile of weapons, all crusted over in dried blood in one way or another. A lot don't even match the theme of the setting, showing modern day pistols and even a medieval flail.

For all those comments about fights to the death, it looks like this actually is one. ]
[ And it's not even Thursday.

It's Friday night, in fact. Late and actually Saturday at this point. This time the Sheriff has no interference and it is just Will, standing by the bonfire with his hunting knife in his hand, waiting for Natalie to come out.

Because, well, of course she's going to come out. Why wouldn't she? ]
[ When Hannibal wakes up, he will find himself lying in the dirt. His vision is blocked by the black cloth bag over his head and his hands are bound with some rope. This might feel like a betrayal of sort from the Sheriff but, well.

The rope isn't terribly tight.

He is lying in front of the hotel and what he won't be able to see is this: the bear trap, laid simply in front of the door to the hotel and beckoning anyone to come closer with it's gleaming metal teeth.

A bit of a fitting way to catch a monster like Hannibal. ]
[ When Shinnosuke wakes, he will be unable to see anything.

(Wait.)

But he'll find himself lying in the dirt and to his right he will feel the heat of the bonfire -- not terribly close but not too far either. To his left drifts the smell of forest from the homestead which means the hotel must be there.

If he was able to see, he would notice that he's lying in the dirt between the clinic and the mortician. Instead, he will only be able to helplessly lie there in the dirt.

That's unfortunate. ]
[ It's not too late yet, only around 10 or so. People have retired to their rooms, buckled down for the rest of the night. There isn't much to do other than, maybe, grab a late night snack before holding down the fort.

That's naturally what these two find themselves doing this evening. No nefarious intentions at all.

Just the intent to share a cup of cocoa. ]
[ Russell has been in the stocks for nineteen hours at this point. While others in the town have probably taken pity on him, given him food and water over the course of the day, maybe a chair --

Right now, is alone and it is very, very silent.

Then, of course, there are the sounds of footsteps. ]
[ When Chane wakes, she will find herself lying on the ground near the bonfire. It is warm and hot and the only light source around for miles. It is also eerily quiet.

At a distance, she can probably see Russell bound in the stocks. His head is tipped forward and he is still -- asleep or dead, the question is left unanswered. But there is really little way he can help her now.

Nearby, a coyote watches her. ]
[ What a fine evening to have a drink, probably!

It's Thursday night and as usual, the hotel is a little tense and jumpy. Most haviing retired to their rooms at this point, trying to sleep until tomorrow's misery -- but some find themselves lingering, perhaps too restless to sleep and eyes wide open for any suspicious movements.

This is where we'll find Lust and, eventually, Chane. ]
[ Tonight, Riku will find his room empty. There isn't any sign of struggle or anything like that -- Nui is just not there. Elsewhere. Where that might be will definitely have to wait till morning for the answer.

Instead, the room is locked and plain as can be. The windows aren't, of course, but the door looks no worse for the wear.

The hallway is empty. There's a small fire outside, near the Sheriff's station, but that's about it -- the embers already seem to be fading away.

There really isn't anything else to say about it. ]
[ So, Annabeth is in the stocks.

That sucks.

She would have been there since 5 AM. Hopefully someone brought her things to eat and drink during the day but otherwise, hands and head bound in the wooden frame.

If someone was with her earlier, they're suddenly not now. Instead, she is alone and the moon shines bright in the sky with an accompanied stillness to the air. Nearby, a raccoon dives underneath the General Store porch, a piece of stolen meat clutched between its tiny paws. It watches her with beady yellow eyes.

She might, in the distance, see someone approaching. ]
[ It's very, very, very definitely past curfew. The sun isn't all the way down yet but the sky is dark enough that the first glimmer of the moon can be seen in the sky. A coyote howls in the distance, followed by some yipping and it's quite peaceful, for a moment.

Nui will wake up on the edges of the bonfire, closer to the Saloon than the hotel, but there really isn't anything else in sight. Huh. That's pretty strange. No real explanation here besides the fact it's Thursday night. ]

[ Tonight, when everyone is finally safely in the realm of "not here", the Sheriff approaches the jail cells with his keys hanging off his finger. He reaches the doors and unlocks them both, just raising an eyebrow at both the girls before backing up. ]

Time for you to both go home. Pretty sure y'all know how to do it by now. I'll be upstairs and I'll come for one of you in the morning.

[ After that, he tips his hat and just walks right out of the door to the station. It's up to Ao and Tiara now, it seems. ]
