The message comes by carrier pigeon actually, which is a pretty weird way to deliver a message but of course, it's thematic. A very pretty looking brown pigeon swoops down out of the sky to wherever Milla just so happens to be that afternoon and holds out its leg. The message is short and simple:
Got a job for you. Meet me at the farm at dusk. No show, no job. Keep it a secret, rewarded very well.

And that's it. Of course, if Milla chooses to listen to the message, she will find the Sheriff at the farm at dusk, chewing a piece of tobacco and watching the sun set. She'll be greeted with a tip of his hat and one word:
"Bounty."
And then he holds out a small notebook. Looks like Milla's been chosen for one of those roles that were mentioned. Good luck.
Regular bounty. If he was the lead, I'd have been pretty pissed. I had him killed 'cause he wasn't participating. He was the only Bounty not doing anything so you don't have to worry about the others but he was deadweight and had to be culled.
Nope. It ain't what I'm gonna do. A bounty wasn't killed in the trial so why would I announce it? If someone asks, I'll have to say something but if no one asks, it ain't gonna be said. I only willingly tell y'all 'cause it's one of your own.

Dunno. Some of 'em I might be able to keep in limbo. Ain't really sure about all of them. Just wanted to give 'em someplace nice to wait out the rest of the game till everyone goes home. Best to just leave the train alone, in my opinion.

The people who die here, get closer to a full death. Not yet dead but not alive either. They can exist but only in a contained state even smaller than this town. Thus, the train.
If y'all break the place they're anchored too right now, they drift. Way of the universe states that if they're not particularly inclined either way, they'll drift into a full death. Since most of y'all always want to be either fully alive or fully dead, that's just your instinct. Who wants to live a half-life? No one. Sentients ain't made to function like that.
So, if the people who are dead right now aren't really gunning to be either alive or dead, they'll most likely just die fully. Ain't saving them from that. Just not strong enough to keep, you know?
Like whatshisname, the sword fella. He didn't really care if he was alive or dead. So, he'll probably just finally fully die. He's already at peace more than most of ya. Ain't anything to fight for now. He's got his reward, he's good.
[ He drops his hands then, tucking his fingers into his belt loops. ]
