BOUNTY LEADER

The message comes by carrier pigeon actually, which is a pretty weird way to deliver a message but of course, it's thematic. A very pretty looking brown pigeon swoops down out of the sky to wherever Damian just so happens to be that afternoon and holds out its leg. The message is short and simple:

Got a job for you. Meet me at the farm at dusk. No show, no job. Keep it a secret, rewarded very well.

And that's it. Of course, if Damian chooses to listen to the message, he will find the Sheriff at the farm at dusk, chewing a piece of tobacco and watching the sun set. He'll be greeted with a tip of his hat and one word:

"Bounty."

And then he holds out a small notebook. Looks like Damian's been chosen for one of those roles that were mentioned. Good luck.

That doesn't make any sense. The rulebook stated once three Bounties found each other, you would reveal who the rest of them are.

Nah, but they ain't reveal their status to one another. Can't confirm if they haven't yet.

How can someone possibly "is or will be or is in the state of being" anything? This isn't Schrodinger's cat! They either are or they aren't currently.

Means I know there's going to be someone permanently injured here but they might not be if you talk to them now but they might be if you talk to them later this week or next week.

Not sure yet. My cat ain't part of the game so unsure if it's associated with the game. It's a decision I'd have to make on my own, with no guidelines attached. Bit indecisive there.

So what you're saying is you're scared to act on your own because of assumed repercussions from your "employers."

You could just keep him in one of the jail cells.

But he didn't break a rule associated with the game, did he? He killed my cat. My cat that ain't part of anything to do with this game, just my own personal pleasure. What would I punish him for? That's like stealing my hat, nothing to do with the game at all.

I'm angry about it, but it ain't anything involved with the competition.
