First of all, a huge HUGE thank-you to Squee for putting this all together so we could spend the last seven weeks collectively screaming our heads off! Wrangling 40 people into committing murder is no easy feat on its own; doing that while also making sure we all had our time to shine is nothing short of amazing.
And a huge thank-you to everyone for making this game so much fun to play in! We had a wide variety of characters in this game and it was really awesome to see how everyone made everything work so well, even with characters that might have been difficult to play in this kind of setting. Speaking for myself, I'm canonblind to a lot of the characters we had, but you all were so great at playing them that I got really invested in seeing how things worked out for them despite the canonblindness. And for characters that I was already familiar with, it's been really cool to see them in action again!
Out of character, all of you have been a delight to talk with and plot with and I really appreciate how positive my plurk timeline has been for the last almost-two months. Thank you all so much for such an amazing experience!!
I'VE YELLED ABOUT THIS BEFORE but gosh I don't feel like I can gush enough. Robowest was my very first murder game experience, and it was a fantastic and wonderful one at that! Squee has been such an amazing mod whose love and hard work really delivered a freakin' awesome game to her playerbase, and I don't feel like I can thank her enough for accepting some rando person who reserved last minute into the game. Modding can be so exhausting at times and yet Squee paid particular attention to each and every player in order to give them a chance to shine and do their own thing, and that in and of itself is a feat to be commended! SO THANK YOU SO MUCH SQUEE ;; FOR EVERYTHING.
And then of course, no game is complete without an excellent playerbase, so thank you so much to everyone who apped into this game and played in it! You are all fantastic and wonderful writers who did amazing things with your characters. I can't wait to read your private convos and threads to track the development of each and every person throughout their game arcs. OOCly you were all so welcoming and kind and easygoing, especially with someone who was just learning the murder game ropes, and a great OOC atmosphere also helps a game really flourish! SO THANK YOU. TO EVERYONE.

I think you've been told your last minute switch to noctis was the best decision a few times already BUT IT REALLY WAS. I'm glad our first thread was stupid and fun (i bet the big fish died from corpse poisoning as comeuppance or something). I wish we could've done more but hey, watching from the train car sidelines was pretty great. I love how much he tries and ended up dad.

ugh Ty I know I've been in a murdergame with you before but I feel like this is the first time where our CR actually clicked and then suddenly it was the shenanigans of the big sis and the little bro. I know I've told you this before, but the ONLY time I started crying during a thread was the one where Sara confessed and Percy's reaction to it-- because it was just so emotionally powerful and you could tell how much it upset him on like five different levels that it literally hurt me.
I think that you and Percy definitely earned the right to be the last one standing. I always saw him around, I never once thought he was the Coal Miner until like the last week and then all of his protagging was just like AH YES PERCY IS DEFINITELY A STAPLE
I love him, I loved how you handled his development, and I love you for bringing all of this forward.
FAYE I'M SO GLAD THEY ENDED UP ROOMMATES... i had no idea what to expect from Barnham and Lust as roommates, and I expected hilarity (which we got), but they also ended up surprisingly deep and caring. I'm so glad for their CR, and Lust in general was just so great. I loved reading her threads and seeing her relationship with Eliot develop after the fact was so good. AND THE CHAIN MURDERS OF REVENGE WERE ALSO SO GOOD??
Everything was so good. I loved reading Lust's threads in the gy, too, and thank you so much for such a good reunion thread too.

But I just wanted to leave a note here to say that I really loved reading Annabeth's letters! The way that she was able to get messages through the censor to Percy was so good and clever, and the way that they corresponded even through death was really heartwarming to read too.

I'm not at all surprised that Sara was great, because you were playing her and you are always fabulous. But Sara was so great and enjoyable to play with for everything that we did—and for all the stuff I got to read with her. She's naturally spot-on from everything I know about Sara, but seeing what she was up to and how you utilized that to make her so engaging was fantastic. I gotta sit and read everything else still, but I love everything I read and I'm so glad for her existence and presence in the game!
Shinnosuke was an absolute hoot, and I love how he just kind of kept going against expectations and refused to really bond with people but wound up caring about them anyway. It was both hilarious and also kind of sad, but I did always enjoy seeing him around when Sara wasn't harassing him herself. THANK YOU FOR THIS CHEERFUL ASSHOLE WHO THEN PROCEEDED TO GO BLIND it was just kind of beautiful in general.
Because Papika was precious and adorable and now I know the truth and I want to scream a lot more but she was both hilarious and heartbreaking?? And always around and I love how she and Sara clicked as people who probably made questionable life choices but really... I'm so glad this was your first murdergame experience. I'm just gonna state this for the record but NATALIE WAS SO GOOD. Like, in absolutely every single way. Her sense of humor, how she handled all the absolute crazy shit that was thrown at her, and just all of her CR was absolutely incredible. You did such a good job of utilizing what you could of her role but also getting her incredibly involved in other ways.
She's one of the characters I think I enjoyed most in watching the progression and development for her. She was an absolutely gem from start to finish and my only regret tbh is that I didn't pursue even deeper CR with her but next time, eli! points at eyes, points at you...
I know I've said this a few times before, but I'm so, so glad for everything about Milla. The fact you apped her at all was a win in my book, but seeing how you handled her was just fantastic. Milla's definitely just generally pretty high on my favorite Tales protag list, and seeing the way you brought her to life was wonderful. Her conviction and desire to always move forward was something that shone through; it's such a core part of who Milla is, and I feel like anyone who saw her, canon-familiar or not would be able to see that. Everything she did fell so well in line with her beliefs and her duty, and I think striking that balance with how much conviction she has along with her desire to learn about people and help humanity was incredible.
And I mean, then there was The Ship, of course. And you know I'm so, so happy that our joking about it ended up with Milla and Noct being absolutely ridiculously full of good things. It's been such a blast to watch their progression because I never expected that it would go that way and I can't thank you enough for it! You obviously haven't seen the last of me on that front, but the short time they had to explore their relationship within the game was so, so good and I'm so happy for that too!
I'm so mad at you and mad at me because I honestly think we couldn't have betrayed each other any more and wound up with as great a duo as we did. You have always been so good at taking characters and making me care about them, and Barnham was just so GREAT from the start with his unwavering belief in justice that still kind of started wavering and he still did his best to keep his chin up and support everyone while he and Sara started progressively getting closer. You were wonderful to plot with and I know you carried a lot of this going forward and screamed a lot but YOU REALLY DID A GOOD JOB ON SEEING THINGS THROUGH to the point where a lot of us were cheering for Barnham to just

Yoooo pip! You did real good with Xion, and even though I didn't have as much with her as maybe we could have, it was still a lot of fun to watch her progression! I had a pretty decent understanding of what you wanted out of her, given canon and all, but it was still pretty cool to see who she placed her trust in and how she decided to approach things.
You did great being active and involved too, it was great to see so much happening all the time and how you tried to get Xion into things!
I'm glad we got good CR this time around, Noct and Jason were a blast to throw at each other, especially towards the end when it was really apparent that they needed to be able to support each other a bit. Noct reading all his notes aloud, the goofing off at bounty meetings, Noct constantly trying to be the one to help Jason find some chill...
It was so good? I love that at some point Noct became Dad. But I also have enjoyed seeing his relationships with the others, especially how the various Bounty crew interactions played out. This goes doubt for how much you managed to do with him when he was without the ability to speak. You took a really crazy circumstance and pulled it off so well that once Jason could actually speak again in the gy I was like "o rite, that's a thing."
He was good, so, so good and I'm really glad for everything about him!
I'm sad that Higekiri wasn't around for longer although I still know very little about swords, but he really made for an entertaining trial (and a very frustrated Sara) and his letters kept making me laugh. It was interesting to see his mindset and to watch him set the stage for bandits in the future and I'm so sorry that Sara was really just annoyed by everything
blows kisses I'M SAD WE DIDN'T GET TO PLAY MORE TOGETHER But this just means we definitely need to RP more together in the future, whatever the future may bring. Points at eyes, points at you. Yuna was super cute and great, and while I know you said she wasn't a good fit for the game, I still loved seeing how much you clearly loved her.

Jes, I know I've said this before, but I know firsthand how hard it is to play a mute character. And the things Chane didn't say, that you left up to body language and expression and brackets, were all so wonderful. You made me adore her, and also reminded me that yes she is a Baccano and not to be fucked with, and when she died, I really felt the silence. I hope you had as much fun playing her as I did seeing her around.
I didn't have a whole lot of in-depth interaction with Hannibal, but I'm really glad for the fact that so many people just COULD NOT BELIEVE (icly) that he was a cannibal because he was a doctor and he saved lives and he was so polite and-- it just made the actual reveal that much more hilarious to me. You were so good at balancing intricacies and subtleties and I kept finding myself astounded by just how beautifully you handled him and his insanity while building up the trust of the people around him. It was all so good and you are lovely.
I loved Ash so much. Like, just-- I know he was an asshole and that it was absolutely bad if he made it to endgame, but you made him so entertaining and the way you had him reacting to people who cared about him while still trying to be so hateful was a JOY to watch. His relationship with Noct was so good?? I'm so mad??
And his death was hilarious and also kind of sad I'm sorry BUT I LOVED WHAT YOU DID WITH HIM SIB NEVER DOUBT
LILY i wish I would have been able to tag Ezio more, which was totally my bad, but reading everything he did and his guilty confession was all so interesting! I really loved seeing him around and reading his threads, and his voice was spot on. I'm glad that I got to play with you for the amount that I did, and I'll be looking forward to threading with you again if the opportunity ever arises!
God Rem I didn't get to play with Eliot as much as I wanted to which was my bad, I'll make sure to tag you more in the future, but--his voice was perfect. I could hear him as if he was talking right from the show in all of his tags, and it was really, really amazing. And going back and reading his bandit log broke my heart; his motivations were so perfect despite how he felt about everything, and I could feel the struggles he was going through.
BASICALLY ELIOT WAS FLAWLESS I'm so glad that I was able to stalk his threads like this, and thank you for playing such a perfect Eliot in rw! It was an absolute joy!
