I loved Ash so much. Like, just-- I know he was an asshole and that it was absolutely bad if he made it to endgame, but you made him so entertaining and the way you had him reacting to people who cared about him while still trying to be so hateful was a JOY to watch. His relationship with Noct was so good?? I'm so mad??
And his death was hilarious and also kind of sad I'm sorry BUT I LOVED WHAT YOU DID WITH HIM SIB NEVER DOUBT
I could probably write a novel about Ash, but I'm going to save that for the tl;cr when I get there.
But really, Ash was so great overall. I didn't know what to expect from him when he was listed to be Noct's roomie, but I'm so, SO glad he was! We finally got some real, significant and deep CR this way, and I'm so happy for that because you'd been so much fun to play with. I WAS A FOOL FOR NOT ACTIVELY PURSUING IT EARLIER though I think we've learned our lesson.
EITHER WAY i did watch bits and pieces of his canon, more than stuff you linked and it was really cool for me to see how you implemented so much of him into this game and yet also gave him a really significant arc of growth and character development.
I mean.
He only made one friend and now he's going to be a car, but that's still a pretty amazing stretch from where he started, with telling Noct he was going to level the whole town (bless his robot soul he tried). I loved him, really and sincerely so thank you so much for the amazing CR over these last few weeks, Sib!
ALSO AAA THANK YOU SO MUCH?? i'm sorry you subjected yourself to that stupid game HAHAHA i'm glad you think i did a good job though!! since a good chunk of the stuff i do is based on personal interpretation of the game's events. I REALLY ENJOYED OUR CR SO MUCH TOO AND I LOVE YOU FOR IT.
I'm a little grumpy about how fascinated you made me in ash and his canon, honestly, like how dare you do this to me. YOU MADE HIM INTO SUCH AN INTERESTING CHARACTER--every last one of his struggles, the ways that he flipflopped between helping and metaphorically flipping them all the bird in trials and the way that he survived until he blew himself up--
It was just all so good and so so so fascinating. Real talk, Ash's arc with Noctis is the first one I read, just because all of his development was so good there, and I had to see how it all happened. And it was just so perfect from start to finish. It was totally believable and so interesting and ugh Sib, I love reading your characters' development.
EVEN IF OUR CHARACTERS DIDN'T GET ALONG AT ALL I still loved all of our threads and I'm so glad for what we got to do in rw--you're such a force to be reckoned with in murdergames no matter what type of character you bring in and it's always so fun to see what you accomplish tbh.
But anyway you know I love you lots, Sib, and I'm always excited to RP with you and RW was great but also

SERIOUSLY THOUGH Ash was so fantastic and I think it hilarious and awesome that he survived for so long. I'm so glad for the CR he forged with Milla even if it isn't entirely positive, because their threads were always super enjoyable! Two non-humans with competing opinions on humans??? OF COURSE THEY WOULD HAVE GREAT THREADS. And Ash definitely left his footprint on the game (what with killing the Sheriff's cat RIP CREAMSICLE and being blown up by the Sheriff in the hotel). So RW absolutely would not have been the same without him!

first of all i am very glad to have gotten to be in a game with you again (i played with your korosensei in sub!!) because i always loved reading your stuff? your rp is just like.... so entertaining which is a good skill to have i think? i hope that next time we are in the same game we can thread more but our characters this time just. they did not like each other.
