The message comes by carrier pigeon actually, which is a pretty weird way to deliver a message but of course, it's thematic. A very pretty looking brown pigeon swoops down out of the sky to wherever Milla just so happens to be that afternoon and holds out its leg. The message is short and simple:
Got a job for you. Meet me at the farm at dusk. No show, no job. Keep it a secret, rewarded very well.
- Hal
P.S. Burn this.
And that's it. Of course, if Milla chooses to listen to the message, she will find the Sheriff at the farm at dusk, chewing a piece of tobacco and watching the sun set. She'll be greeted with a tip of his hat and one word:
"Bounty."
And then he holds out a small notebook. Looks like Milla's been chosen for one of those roles that were mentioned. Good luck.
[ Aw shucks, Milla. He considers this question for a moment. ]
... Yes. Typically, I'd only answer that to the Bounty Leader but I don't know if they'll think to ask anytime soon. So, I'll give you that answer for now.
[FOR AS MUCH AS WEEK 3 SUCKED, Milla is, at least, pretty pleased with this bit of progress. a possible trail to the Bounty Leader, confirmation that she needs to avoid the Deputy, and knowledge that if they get creative there may be another way bedsides MURDER to end this game? SCORE]
If I do manage to find them, I'll be sure to pass on the information.
[she looks a little smug someone may need to knock her down a peg or two]

You are a reasonable man.
[which!! still annoys her!! gawd. but she's grateful for it too]
I have no suggestions at this point in time, but you've given me a new angle from which to look at this game.
. . . as well as confirmation that my lead may be a good one.
[time to hit Percy up after this yep yep]

I'm only here to facilitate, not impede. Good to know you're working hard though.

[as angry as she gets at him sometimes, she has definitely filed him away into the "helpful resource" category. she is a hard worker!!!]
Is the role that's looking for the Bounties the Deputy?
