[ WEEK THREE – ??? (NATALIE) ]
[ The skeletons drag Natalie down for a while, through a thick layer of them -- scratching and tearing and even biting as they go. Any sounds she makes will be muffled and the small amount of light from the pit will eventually fade after a while.
She'll even lose her hat. Shame.
But eventually the skeletons will let up, fading into more of a dirt tunnel than anything else. She'll slide down that for a while until eventually being spit out and landing on a concrete floor.
When she looks up, she'll find herself in what appears to be access tunnels, light bulbs hanging from the ceilings to provide dim light and pipes going along the walls going every which way direction. The room is square and plain and on every side of it has four different tunnels to lead her whichever way she chooses.
She could go forwards, backwards, left, or right. Which way will she go? ]

[She dislikes everything a great deal, but at least that much is true.
She runs her hands over her arms and face quickly to try and get past the feeling of those things scratching at her, making a dismayed face at any minor injuries they might have caused. She looks up towards the pit, but something tells her she wouldn't be able to scream loud enough to alert them that she isn't dead. She can only try to find her way back to them, or out of here.
There's no clear indication of what the right way to go is, so... She heads forwards.]

But here's where it gets interesting -- or boring, depending on your perspective. As she walks, she will have to... keep walking. The path turns downwards after a while and the lights grow dimmer. Dripping water can be heard in the distance and bits of scuttling break into the silence.
It will take her three hours to reach the next intersection. Which way now? ]

This time she decides to go left!]

This path is much brighter at least and after a while, the walls and floors turn from concrete to smooth white tiles, covering the walls, floors, and ceilings. The pipes have even sunk into the walls now too. Soon the walls will start to show windows, all of them clouded over and unable to see right through.
After four hours Natalie will finally come across an unclouded window.
It only has a chair on the other side and in the chair is a woman. A woman who looks awfully familiar, actually. Wait, isn't that just Natalie herself? The other Natalie looks up after a moment and smiles. ]

She does pause for a moment, then two, then three. It's so strange, and though she's ready to run, she speaks after a moment.]
Hello...?
no subject
Hello...?
[ The voice is muffled from the glass but her voice, it definitely does sound like the real Natalie's too. ]
no subject
Is this a dead end, or can she pass by the window and continue on?]
no subject
She will, of course, be followed by a few calls of come back, come back...! but if she ignores them, the calls will stop and she'll only have to keep walking. Eventually the windows stop and she'll end up in another intersection, still tiled. That one only took half an hour to get to.
Which way now? ]
no subject
She stops to think about it, but this time, she heads to the right.]

But hey, get ready for more walking! This one actually seems kind of nice after a while. The tiles fade into wood and the floor into dirt. The ceiling even fades into a solid mimic of a bright blue sky above -- which is definitely odd because at this point, it's probably about eleven pm in the town above.
After six hours (see, eleven pm) Natalie will start to see tiny living rooms appear in alcoves built into the sides. They'll have plush armchairs and cozy couches, warm crackling fire and rugs to finish it off. Then, as she keeps going, there will be dining rooms with long tables piled high with food on top -- all of it steaming and hot and ready to eat. She's more than welcome to take a bite. Then after the dining rooms are some warm bedrooms, with small bathrooms attached. Plush four posted beds and hot showers await Natalie if she so chooses. Even a change of clothes if she desires.
It's all very, very tempting. ]

Biting her lip, she looks around to see if there's any loose gravel or a rock she can toss in that direction.]
no subject
no subject
She's going to toss it at some of the food to see what happens.]
no subject
Natalie, are you gonna have yourself a meal or what? ]
no subject
She picks up whatever happens to be nearest and looks it over, trying to see if there's anything out of place or strange about it.]
no subject
Why not sit, serve yourself up a plate? Have a bite? Would be nice. ]
no subject
Just going to stare longingly at it all while she eats this apple.]
no subject
But why would you pick an apple over all this warm, hot food? The stews, the soups, the warm potatoes and meats. There's even some gooey looking cheese dish over to the side.
Sit. Siiiiit. ]
no subject
Although... She is still not taking a seat, thank you very much, but is there any sort of container she can put some of this food in to take with her?]
no subject
There's no containers but she can most likely load up one of those plates. Those very fine, normal plates on the plate settings that would be perfectly normal and fine to sit at and eat. ]
no subject
She's just shoving as much food as possible onto this plate before continuing on. Unless the plate tries to destroy her?? Please be kind, plate.]
no subject
Well, fine. Is she going to busy herself at the bedrooms or just keep walking? ]
no subject
She heads towards one, though she's careful not to touch anything yet.]
no subject
But it is rather tempting. Don't you want to take a nap, Natalie? You've been awake for a while, after all. ]
no subject
[Just, you know, for the record. So the bedroom knows.
...She's going to sit on the bed for literally one second before hopping off again to see if anything happens.]
