[ WEEK THREE – ??? (NATALIE) ]
[ The skeletons drag Natalie down for a while, through a thick layer of them -- scratching and tearing and even biting as they go. Any sounds she makes will be muffled and the small amount of light from the pit will eventually fade after a while.
She'll even lose her hat. Shame.
But eventually the skeletons will let up, fading into more of a dirt tunnel than anything else. She'll slide down that for a while until eventually being spit out and landing on a concrete floor.
When she looks up, she'll find herself in what appears to be access tunnels, light bulbs hanging from the ceilings to provide dim light and pipes going along the walls going every which way direction. The room is square and plain and on every side of it has four different tunnels to lead her whichever way she chooses.
She could go forwards, backwards, left, or right. Which way will she go? ]

Time to hurry through this area, then, because this is creepy. Bye cat hallway??]

But she's in an intersection again! And this one is just made out of concrete again. Where to now? ]

She shrieks a little and nearly drops her plate of food in her haste to rub at her face, shuddering as she looks at the hall behind her. Gross.
This time, she continues forward.]

It all seems pretty alright as Natalie goes along but then the walls sort of start getting... slimmer... and slimmer.
And then it grows darker.
It grows darker until the only glint of light are the spikes coming out of the walls, metal and pointy and so, so very close
They also seem to be vibrating, as if they wanted to just push in and... squish... her.
Walk carefully, Natalie. The halls are narrow. ]

Nope she's going back to the last intersection and going left?? Bye.]

So, sucks 2 b u, Natalie, but it looks like the intersection closed up the moment you made your choice. Yikes. ]

[TOSSES A PIECE OF MEAT AT THE WALL like a mature adult. Whatever!!
I guess she's doing this spike thing. Very slowly and very carefully.]

sets down the entire plate
and scoots it away with her foot]

So, she'll walk, right? But prepare for the longest walk of your life because it will take nine hours to walk through those spikes.
And be very, very careful not to touch any of them. ]

Please excuse her while she just kind of. Slumps on the ground for a minute once she's out, starting to yell after a few moments. It's a bit tearful, but she knows somewhere that nobody is around to hear her. Not after this long. More likely than not, they think she's dead already. Still, god, she has to try.]
Can anybody hear me? Please! If there's anybody out there, please...

As if the tunnels themselves know she's having a pretty tough time of it, when she does exit to that next intersection, there will be a small table piled high with --
Well, whatever Natalie constitutes as her favorite foods and drinks. Whatever it happens to be, no limits there. There's also a few water bottles though, to remind her to hydrate.
There is also a note.
Not drugged or anything. Promise.
Try and find your way back.
- Hal
So, someone's looking out for her, at least. ]

She's rubbing at her face, pushing away any stray evidence of tears, when she comes across the table. Somehow, it makes her smile, even if the words that come out of her mouth aren't exactly kind.]
Couldn't even point me towards an exit. Whatever, I'll find the way out and I don't need you to tell me how, asshole.
[She is absolutely going to eat this food, though, drinking one of the water bottles and taking as many as she can carry with her. After nine hours of walking through spike filled doom, she's much less concerned about it, somehow. She's also slipping that note in her pocket.
Please don't scream at her this time, food. Also she's going right, I guess that's important or something.]
