The Saloon is the heart of the town and therefore, the place one goes to know what's happening. Drinks are served, companions are made, and fights are had. The Bartender of the saloon tends over drinks and makes sure everyone pays their dues. The Madame is in charge of her girls and keeps a keen eye on who arrives and what use of them she can make.
Two participants of the game will be given these roles by the Sheriff and will meet each week to discuss what may be happening in the town and how to use the information they collect. This is a role that requires looking at the town through a keen, tactical eye and working towards a bigger picture together. It'll be up to the participants given the role to decide if they'd like to help or to hurt.
GENERAL
- Each week the Bartender and the Madame will be given the opportunity to investigate one character and find out exactly what they've done over the last week. This includes: who they've talked to privately and a summary, from the Sheriff, of what they've spent their time doing during the week.
- If the characters discover a participant with a role, the Sheriff will only expose if they have one or not, but not what the role itself entails.
- The Bartender and Madame will be able to send anonymous messages, via the Sheriff, to other characters in the game. They will each be able to send one message out per week. They do not have to inform each other if they've sent a message, only contact the Sheriff privately instead.
- The Bartender and Madame are allowed to investigate each other. Both participants will have their activities revealed to each other, if they decide this.
