Sup, y'all.
This is an interest check for an upcoming mafia based murdergame set to open January 6th, 2017. It'll be sci-fi western in genre mixed with light humor and aiming for a 40 character cap. The premise?
Your character has arrived at a dusty old western town that appears to be empty of most forms of life aside from animals and one lone robot, dressed as what appears to be the local Sheriff. He will welcome each character with a cowboy hat, a fully loaded pistol, and a hotel room key. He will then explain that your characters have been invited to participate in a local festival of theirs and more information will come as the festival starts.
What kind of festival is this? Why, one that pits life against life to see who's really willing to put in the effort to live.
The game will deal with the idea of merit, all character action (and inaction) will be rewarded in ways specific for each character. Based on their participation in the festival, they'll be awarded boons to bring back home or change their lives in some way. If they decide not to participate, then perhaps death will be a bit more permanent than they'd like. So, naturally, the type of characters that will encouraged in robowest are:

★ Characters who are driven in a way that will tip them over into killing. Either for the greater good or some selfish desire of theirs -- the ambition is welcomed.Tl;dr if the thought of your character chasing down another with a lasso and then giving them a public hanging appeals to you, this is your game. ★ Characters older than sixteen but if there is a character you feel fitting for this setting, please ask and I'll be more than happy to give you a yay or nay!
★ Characters both human and non-human alike. There won't be any body alterations other than, perhaps, making 10 feet tall characters 6 feet tall instead. Robots stay robots, furries stay furries, it's no big. They'll all get a cowboy hat regardless.
★ Aside from that though, powers will be nerfed. To make the festival run smoothly, all actions will have to be committed with the tools available or your characters own hands. No powers to get an edge over the competition.
