I think, on some level, she wanted to protect Jason from what she had thrown herself into it. I don't know if I made this clear ICly in our threads, but her intention had been to ensure painless deaths in the game, after seeing how people like Nui (and, let's be honest, even her own husband) regarded murder. I think she would have rather have injected Jason with some sort of poison in his sleep on the first or second week rather than see him go through what he did over the course of the game, especially having his tongue ripped out!
However, at least part of the reason she never sought his life was that he was her alibi. Or he could have been. That was the plan, even if it rarely turned out that way! Two weeks out of the five, he actually caused trouble for her in that regard, but she never blamed him or resented him. Chane isn't petty and doesn't act out of spite or vindictively. He was simply doing what he thought was right and she understood that.
Chane definitely wants Jason to be happy, wherever he's going! But I don't think she'll be going the extra mile to keep in touch via extra dimensional letters or anything. As far as she's concerned, their dynamic was more of a necessary and terse one than it otherwise might have been -- Chane held him at arm's length, and she certainly wasn't prepared to fill any sort of mother role or otherwise.
That said, she was slightly displeased with Hannibal when she found out that he had put Jason in the stocks simply because of the town's name.
this is actually a bit short I'm sorry Kyuu
