Papikaaaaa WHO WOULD’VE THOUGHT WE’D END UP HERE AFTER THEIR FIRST THREAD.
But honestly, Barnham is a sucker for children despite everything (and he had no idea of the SPOILERS you told us after the fact, which is hilarious) so even though Papika had her moments of being an annoying spaz, he still wanted to protect and take care of her. She was a child who didn’t deserve to deal with everything as awful as a murdergame, and that was his very first thought about her.
But she was also brave and spunky, and didn’t let anything hold her down. That’s something that Barnham slowly came to admire over the weeks. Papika survived, and she did so while giving everyone a smile. He knew that that couldn’t be easy; they were all breaking bit by bit every week, and yet… Papika kept on going and never backed down. She was brave, one of the bravest people in Whole Ass as far as Barnham was concerned, and he 100% meant what he said about her having a warrior’s soul.
As far as he’s concerned, Papika is one of those people who was most impressive throughout everything. She never lost herself, and she always stayed true to who she was. She didn’t cave under the pressure, and she was still able to smile at people and make friends. If nothing else, he kind of wants to take a page out of her book from here on out in how he lives his life, because she’s a bit of an inspiration!
Overall though, he definitely treasures her and her friendship, and 100% wants to stay in touch. They can send letters through inter dimensional pigeons, it’s fine, he’s gotta check up on Miss Papika and make sure that her crazy life is going okay!!!
