okay so percy and sara. I know I initially told you that sara was like mom for him because she was older and generally had a good head on her shoulders, but his own mom is a badass and he literally cites her as being the nicest lady in the world and that's kind of how he feels about sara. on the other hand, his own mom wouldn't let underage drinking be a thing so sara wins by default.
in all seriousness sara is definitely the older sister he never had and he trusts her a lot, moreso than a lot of people in the game in a way where he allowed himself to be even remotely vulnerable around her and that takes a lot for him to reach that point. he finds her to be so brave and amazing and also just very chill? he loves how relaxed and chill she is and he really liked learning about her and also hearing about how she managed to get herself out of really shitty situations while still being the way she is. it's something he finds admirable. sara as a whole leaves him a little starry-eyed in admiration and it's sort of dumb but she's so great and he loves it. he loves her a lot? he thinks sara deserves nothing but good things after the shitty childhood she lived and he can see why she was a teacher and why she wants to help people
when she killed russell and was voted for it basically crushed him not so much that she killed a child but that she was sort of tricked into it. it pissed him off and it also made his soul kind of shatter again because sara was one of the last people to deserve something like this. he has zero hesitations in thinking that sara would kill a dude, but killing a child was something she should have never done and he's So Mad!!! THANKS HAL, YA DOUCHE!!! but he's so glad to see that she's going to carry on and as much as he has mixed feelings about russell he believes sara will help him best.
he's going to miss her so much when they split because she was such a grounding point for a lot of them. he's glad he chose to keep his memories solely to remember sara tbh.
