UGH ELI NATALIE WAS SO GOOD!!! SO GOOD. Next murdergame I am absolutely tagging you more because I missed out.
But Barnham still had a lot of feelings about Natalie so don't worry, let me tl;dr about them.
In all honesty, Barnham thinks that Natalie's one of the strongest people in the game. She had a role that was far from clear-cut, one where she tried so hard to help people and was constantly thwarted by the rules of the game that were never ever told to her. But even so, week after week, Natalie did her best. She kept trying, and that's one of the most impressive things to him.
She kept trying, she retained her personality, she looked after the people around her, and all in all, she was a remarkably strong person--and that was before she decided to take care of Hannibal herself. He has figured out by now that she knew the outcome of her own fate. Percy told him when Barnham confided in him the true endgame requirements, and since then, he's been thinking about how much courage it had to have taken to do something like that.
To do what you believe in, knowing it will lead to your own death--and to protect other people.
He's sincerely glad for her that she's got a life to lead now. He knows he can leave Percy to her to watch out for, and that Percy will do the same in turn. Natalie is someone who 100% has his utmost respect here, and while he didn't know her as well as the majority of the survivor pool, he still thinks that she's a very impressive person.
