Overall, Hannibal had a good impression of Barnham! Like his impression was always that he was a good, honest man who was trying to do his best in the situation given the fact that half of the town was fucking around pretty much all the time. Hannibal respected his opinions and his attention to trying to do the equivalent of herd cats quite a lot, and he thought pretty highly of him as a result.
However, part of this is also because Hannibal knew he was a sinner. :)
After all, without that little detail, Hannibal would have found him rather boring. His duty and dedication to justice are objectively admirable, but at the same time, Hannibal feels pretty strongly that it didn't quite belong in Whole Ass. So while he was half waiting for Barnham to break down, he was much more pleased with what actually happened. As soon as Barnham killed, Hannibal was much more interested in him and seeing how he would change after that. Aaaand truth be told probably would have come talked to him about it, but. I, Christy, was super swamped, so that's my fault LAUGHS...
Regardless, he was definitely thrilled to see how the game ended for a result. He enjoyed the fact that the most just of them ended up being one of the final few and (probably) ended up getting quite a bit of blood on his hands to do it. It was wonderfully fitting and poetic in how Hannibal views the game and the town as a whole. So he still thinks quite highly of Barnham, even though they never really talked outside of the trials all that much. He's interesting, and he hopes that Barnham will keep his memories of what he's done.
