despite how he seemed to be acting, ash doesn't actually hold any particular grudge against barnham?? LMFAO. I've said it before on Plurk, but Barnham is just the kind of person he can't stand... Ash thinks humans are all self-serving, greedy monsters, so someone who goes around talking about how they want to right wrongs and dedicate themselves to justice strikes him as a massive hypocrite. Due to this, he immediately assumed that Barnham was hiding something and was either talking big to cover it up or doing it because he dogmatically believed it was the right thing to do. AND... HILARIOUSLY... ASH WAS ACTUALLY RIGHT even though the basis of his accusations was basically "i don't like this guy."

now that everything's come to light, ash doesn't particularly hold it against him or anything - not any more than he would otherwise. He just thinks he's a good example of why humanity is rotten. Barnham - to him - exemplifies the self-righteous, delusional behavior that makes humans so destructive. Yes, he may have been "forced" into it, but that doesn't change the fact that he lied to everyone about the reality of the situation, or the fact that he did actually kill a bunch of people. When Ash finds himself in unfavorable situations or faced with things he doesn't agree with, he'll use any means necessary to get around them - he's literally taken himself apart before to change his own fate - and he considers doing otherwise to be a sign of weak will.

so basically 1/10 would shoot in the face if he encountered him in a dark alley and feel satisfied about it...... NO SYMPATHY... I'M SORRY BARNHAM
